A man who ran away from the scene of a car crash in Pacific Beach was found to have been stabbed. The driver of the vehicle escaped from the scene. Around 9 pm officer where called in to investigate a car accident that occurred on the intersection of Lamont and Missouri streets. The fleeing passenger ran away and was later caught by San Diego Police officers when he fell and told the officers that he had been stabbed. Paramedics confirmed the injury and the man was taking to the hospital for emergency treatment. Police are currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the bizarre car crash.
