CAMP PENDLETON — A 27-year-old sailor was struck by a car and killed while riding a bicycle on Camp Pendleton Tuesday night, the Medical Examiner’s Office said. The man, whose name was not released, was riding on Vandegrift Boulevard about 11:30 p.m. when he was struck by a Honda Odyessy. He died at a hospital a few hours later. He was an active member of the U.S. Navy stationed at Camp Pendleton.
