The car accident was reported before 6:00 A.M. near 50th st. and El Cajon Blvd. The pedestrian suffered head injuries when he was struck by a passing 92 Chrysler according to San Diego Police. The driver did the right thing and stopped, and is not facing any charges at this time. El Cajon Blvd will be shut down between 50th st and Winona Ave while the investigation continues.
